BOAF's Train the Trainer course will start on September 25 and run through October 26. This course will employ a blended learning environment, with four weeks of online training followed by two days of classroom training (October 25-26). 

Week 1 will open on September 25. There is not a set time that you must be online, you may complete approximately 8 hours of work at any time during the week. This online class will be accessible from any computer that has Internet access, whether at work, home, or a public place such as a library - the convenience of 24-hour accessibility. You will have weekly assignments that must be completed, as the new week will include new assignments to complete.

During the four online weeks, topics will include:

  • Adult Learning
  • The Instructional Process
  • Goals, Objectives and Lesson Plans
  • The Design and Utilization of Instructional Media
  • Preparing to Present.

The face-to-face portion of this course will take place in BOAF's classroom in Sanford, October 25-26, 8am-5pm. During this time, you and the other participants will be in front of the class, on more than one occasion, to present using what you have learned over the past month.

Seating is limited. The cost is $199 for BOAF State members and $249 for non-members, and we are capping registration at 20 students.
