Building Officials Association of Florida Mourns the Loss of Jeff Camden

BOAF mourns the loss of State Member Jeff Camden, Professional Development & Education Committee Chair and former chapter leader of the Gulf Coast Chapter of BOAF.

Jeff had recently relocated to Ocala where he had taken on the leadership role as the Marion County Building Department Director.

A memorial mass will take place on Monday, November 20 at 5:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle in St. Petersburg.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Building Officials Association of Florida Mourns the Loss of Past President James H. “Hugh” Gordon, Jr.

The Building Officials Association of Florida (BOAF) mourns the loss of James H. “Hugh” Gordon, State President 1977-1978 and founding member of the Central Florida Chapter of BOAF. Hugh passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017, after an accident at home.

Details of a memorial or funeral service are not known at this time.

Building Officials Association of Florida Mourns the Loss of Past President Robert L. “Bob” Moore

The Building Officials Association of Florida (BOAF) mourns the loss of Robert L. “Bob” Moore, State President 1991-1992 and Past President of the Building Officials Association of Palm Beach County. Bob passed away at his home Wednesday, November 9, after an illness. Please click here to read more about his life and legacy. 

A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 9 at the Royal Poinciana Chapel.

The Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center is handling arrangements.

 


Building Officials Association of Florida Celebrates Growth in Member Numbers

The Building Officials Association of Florida (BOAF)  is pleased to announce  we closed the 2015 calendar year with 1,902 State Members. This is an 18% increase over 2014 member numbers. Growth can be attributed to improving economy and word-of-mouth marketing provided by satisfied members. 

 


ICC Reinstatement Program for Expired Certifications Coming Soon! 

The Building Officials Association of Florida (BOAF)  is pleased to announce that ICC has considered a reinstatement program for individuals with expired certifications. Building Officials Association of Florida Mourns the Loss of Past President Thomas M. Moses

The Building Officials Association of Florida (BOAF) mourns the loss of Thomas M. Moses, State President 1962-1964 and Central Florida Chapter member. Tom passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Please click here to read more about his life and legacy.
